Install isolation valves and run TMP drain line under the Rinnai tankless unit, to include flushing of said unit. Please note, it's recommended to flush units at least once a calendar year to prevent scale build up and prolong the life of your equipment.

Cleaned the screen on the Rinnai cold water side and restored hot water to the home

REPAIR WATER LINE UNDERNEATH FRONT PORCH WHERE WATER WAS COMING OUT OF THE GROUND.

LINE WAS LEAKING DUE TO A BAD CONNECTION WHERE THE PVC WATER YARD LINE TRANSITIONS TO BLACK POLY PIPE. POLY PIPE SHOULD BE CONNECTED WITH A BARBED TRANSITION FITTING AND THIS ONE WAS NOT CAUSING THE FITTING TO LOOSEN AND CAUSE A BIG LEAK PN THE MAIN WATER LINE.

THE REPAIR WILL INCLUDE CUTTIN BOTH THE BLACK POLY AND THE PVC AND USING THE CORRECT TRANSITION FITTINGS NEEDED TO RECONNECT THE PIPES.

WATER WAS TURNED BACK ON AND THERE WERE NO LEAKS AT THIS TIME.

TO DIG UP WATER LINE UNDERNEATH FRONT PORCH WHERE WATER LINE IS LEAKING AND DETERMINE WHAT WORK WILL NEED TO BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO REPAIR THE WATER LINE.
