Abandon pool manual fill line and cap the line where the existing backflow device was.

It was recommended to perform additional work at this time due to the condition of the existing hose Bibb and other parts supplying the hose Bibb so that the repair could be made properly and ensure there were no other leaks.

Recommendations were declined at this time and once the manual pool fill line was capped, the hose Bibb was still leaking. The customer did not want to perform any other work at this time and options for repair were sent.

No warranties on work performed due to piping being in very poor condition.

Remove old water softener. Build new twin 120,000 grain softener. Install new 1 1/2 water flexes. Plumb in drain for softener. Program and test. Add insulation to tankless units located outside. Install new water flexes to tankless units with new heat tape. Drain hard water out of hose bibs connected to building. Install covers for winter to all hose bibs connected to buildings. Remove and install new tankless unit at sky barn with new isolation valves. Add insulation board on top of valves in ground.

-Drain, clean and sanitize holding tank. Drain and clear out sludge from tank. Scrub the interior of tank. Rinse tank throughly. Disinfect tank, add the recommend amount of chlorine bleach to tank and fill it with water. Open all faucets connected to the tank to fill pipes. Let solution sit for at least 24 to 48 hours. Drain the tank completely to ensure all chlorine is flushed out. We will have to let it completely dry out after first part of cleaning.

-Dig up water lines behind garage to replumb hard and soft water in ground. Cut hard water and plumb into holding tank. Plumb soft water coming out of garage back into system. Test and cover

Troubleshoot/diagnostics on claw foot tub faucet - identify necessary parts for repair - does not include repair unless repair does not require parts

Notes: Client stated Kingston Brass claw foot tub faucet in master bathroom was filling much slower than usual and stated diverter does not turn as much as previously. Troubleshooting found diverter cartridge had failed due to failure of retaining clip. I was able to temporarily repair(no warranty) by squeezing clip back into place, however, clip is broken and will most likely come back off the moment the diverter is operated to divert to handheld. I tested time to fill an approximately 1 gallon bucket. With cartridge removed, it took 10.73 seconds. With cartridge installed, it was 36.74 seconds. With temporary repair I made, it took 14.19 seconds. Cartridge will be identified and client will be given estimates for repair once we get materials cost together.

For this job we found the leak on a galvanized line and followed it back to find a fitting to be able to cap it off we dug approximately 15-20ft and found that it tied into to hard water side and capped off the line in the building. We also capped off a pvc line in the ground that the workers had already dug up before we arrived
