We arrived to the home to inspect the well system and find the source of the fault. We climbed the storage tank and checked the basin to find that it was empty and sucking in air, all 4 floats were in the down position but no signal was being sent to the well. We shook the 2 left hand floats and water immediately began to fill the basin again. We allowed the basin to fill and air to purge from the line while we covered our piping and once the lines were primed we turned the booster pump back on and monitored the system to verify that everything was within specifications. During this time we also found that there is a fractured drain valve on the back side of the tank that we informed the customer about as well as a leak on the line feeding the booster pump and we notified her that the alarms speaker had failed and was no longer audible, she stated she did not want any further work performed at this time due to finances. The well company stated they will come out and replace the floats

UPON ARRIVAL WE DISCUSSED THE ISSUE THE CUSTOMER WAS HAVING WITH A SMELL IN THE WATER AND BELIEVE IT IS DUE TO A FAILING ANODE ROD IN THE WATER HEATER, THE CUSTOMER STATED THEY COULD ADDRESS THIS ISSUE THEMSELVES BUT WOULD STILL LIKE TO HAVE AN INLINE SEDIMENT FILTER INSTALLED. WE FORMED AN OPTION FOR THIS AND THEY CHOSE TO LOOK IT OVER AND REACH BACK OUT TO US WHEN THEY FEEL READY TO PROCEED. NO WORK PERFORMED AT THIS TIME.
